Sotogrande is the biggest luxury residential in the province of Cádiz. Besides stunning mansions and fantastic villas, it is well known for the importance that Sotogrande gives to sport.
There are multiple sports that can be practiced in Sotogrande. It has a tennis and padel club, it is possible to do 4×4 excursions, mountain biking, trekking or horse riding. There are 5 golf courses in Sotogrande. Valderrama is the most important golf course between them. It was the golf course where the Ryder Cup took place in 1997, plus multiple national and international tournaments that are played in Valderrama every year. The high quality of its polo club facilities, make the residential a perfect place to practice polo. As with Valderrama golf course, Santa María of Sotogrande polo club is well know for the number of national and international tournaments that are celebrated there every year.
Besides sport activities, there are several luxury resorts within the residential where the visitors can stay. NH Sotogrande, Almenara Hotel, and Club Marítimo Hotel are resorts located in Sotogrande. San Roque Hotel and Finca Cortesín are also fantastic options where to stay when visiting Cádiz. Due to the high number of luxury apartments and villas in Sotogrande, there is an important offer of residentials and commercials for sale and to rent. The property market is probably the main generator of wealth in the area.

Another positive feature that has not been mentioned yet, is Sotogrande ideal location for mainly the English speaking community. Sotogrande is located just few kilometres from Costa del Sol and Gibraltar. The Malaga and Gibraltar International airports are relatively close.
